I took a fast and furious trip to Abilene this weekend (which probably wasn't the best idea because of the weather). It snowed half the way there and was snowing pretty heavily once I drove into Abilene. Which of course provided great entertainment for me and my friends!
My friend Lauren and I made two very tiny snowmen next to her mailbox (they were maybe half a foot tall) because she was a weenie and was cold (it was about 20 degrees). Even as small as they were they were still very cute!
Well my friend Andy and I went to dinner that same night and then decided to make ANOTHER snowman. That is the snowman that is pictured. He was still pretty small (about a foot and a half), but he took forever to make! The snow was a lot more icy and harder to pack. It took about 45 minutes (and it was even colder than when Lauren and I were making our snowmen), but we persisted and the result is Stanley (I don't think Andy knows I named him)!
Before this weekend I had never made a snowman before, but in one day I made three! As horrible as it was to drive in the snow, I'm thrilled that I was able to spend lots of time in it once I got to Abilene!
