Lauren Quirks

So I have a lot of quirks. For some reason, I've been noticing more and more of my own quirks. Like things that really make me me.

For instance, I just recently noticed that I curl my toes. All the time. This picture above is how I prefer my toes at all time. In tennis shoes, in socks, in my crocs... it just doesn't feel right if they aren't curled. The weirdest thing is that I cannot sleep unless they are curled. I wake up most mornings to find that my toes are a little sore frome being so tightly curled. So strange.

Another Lauren Quirk is that every time I see a plane I imagine myself on it. I've done this since I was little. I would stop what I was doing and stare up at the plane, envious of it's passengers. I didn't care where they were going, I just wanted to GO somewhere else. I don't really know what that says about me...

And this final Lauren Quirk is a Harry Potter Quirk. For the past week I have been carrying around Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It's old, it's been read many times, it even has a little bit of water stains on the back where I'm pretty sure it was unintentionally dropped in the tub (only the corner though). But that's not the strange part (the me carrying around the well loved book that is), the strange part is that I have a Harry Potter book cover for it. Yes that's right. It's a book cover for your Harry Potter books (hardback only). It is like a Bible cover. It even has a little place for a pencil (which has been a GREAT help) and a zipper on the front. That's right, I'm reading a book about a book. Judge all you want. It's actually VERY interesting and it fits PERFECTLY in the zippered part of the book cover!

And of course, a picture of me and Ash right before picking up our copies of Half Blood Prince! It's been a Harry Potter bookmark for two years now! Also, the pencil is nestled in it's little pencil holder. I also carry post-it notes to make notes of while I'm reading. I don't want to miss a thing!
