A Few Random Musings

-I think one of the things that lights up my life is an elder, minister, or any person who leads a prayer- who just dives into the prayer- no warning, just a "Our most gracious and heavenly Father" while the congregation all scrambles to bow their heads and close their eyes. I giggle EVERY time.

-I've been reading vampire books lately. Well really just the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I finished the second book this morning and I continue to be disturbed, annoyed, and just a tad intrigued by the whole concept of a vampire falling in love with a human. Because he's like attracted to her as a person, but he's also attracted to her like he wants to eat her... The roommates and I had a conversation about it at dinner tonight and decided we would stop using the phrase "I love (insert food here)" because we just wanted to eat it. We weren't IN LOVE with it. It makes for VERY humorous conversation at an Italian restaurant with lots of red marinara sauce everywhere...

-I think that I've really just been fooling myself at my "amazing" guitar hero skills. I can't get past this one stupid level and my eyeballs start to hurt like crazy every time I try.

-Is it strange that I read multiple books at a time? I mean I just finished "New Moon" and I'm reading "Simple Church" and "Into Thin Air" and "The Truce at Bakura" and I'm about to start the "Kite Runner" and "Eclipse."

-Because I read for like three hours straight last night about vampires and werewolves, I had a hard time falling asleep, so I eventually got up and pulled Mr. Fuzzy from his shelf. I went to sleep almost instantly. It's been well over a year since I've used him and his heartbeat was so comforting...

-Not so much a fan of watching Lost by myself. Mostly because I've almost always watched it with either the BFF or the Lost Crew and both always insist on lights off. Which is great when you've got people all around you, but when it's just you in a very dark bedroom... Luckily last night's episode wasn't too bad. I'm a little nervous about future episodes though. Freaking Out/Scared Lauren inevitably is followed quickly by Crying Lauren...
