Random Musings on a Sunday Night

-I love Gilmore Girls.  I was a big fan back in the day!  You know what I'm not a fan of?  The whole end of season 4 Rory/Dean storyline.  Sadly, that's about the time that Luke and Lorelai get together, so I have to keep watching...

-Wall-E is the greatest movie of the year.  Hands down.  I could watch it over and over again.

-I have a dog!  Her name is Phoebe and she's a terrier/poodle mix.  She does this thing when she shakes that reminds me of Wall-E when he compacts the garbage!  Precious!

-Ross comes home on Wednesday!  I haven't seen him since March, so I'm super pumped about seeing him!  It is such a blessing that he gets to spend the holidays with the family!

-I went to an all-together worship service at Wedgewood Baptist tonight and it was such a great encouragement to spend a night with people who all believe the same stuff you do.  Even if you don't agree on everything, you agree on what matters most- Jesus.

-Everyone should watch Once.  It's an incredibly beautiful movie about the power of music.

-I saw Twilight on Friday night with a group of my teenage girls.  It was pretty painful.  I'm curious to know why the director made some of the choices she did.  I ended up cringing and/or laughing at many moments that were intended to be "serious."

-I saw High School Musical 3 with some of the same teenagers today.  I loved it!  I mean it wasn't award winning or insighful, but it wasn't meant to be!  It was meant to be a fun and cheesy musical!  And it was exactly that!  The musical scenes were spectacular and I spent most of the time grinning and bopping!

-There are not enough words to describe how much fun I am having being in Christmas Carol.  It is truly like therapy for me.  I can't wait to go to rehearsal, and I'm so creatively filled every time I leave.  We don't have rehearsal for a week because of Thanksgiving, and I'm so sad because I don't have any clue what I am going to do in the evenings...

-I'm ready for Christmas decorating!!

-I still believe that I have the best job in the world.  Hands down!!
