And because I'm getting sick of seeing the same picture over and over again...
I'm writing a new blog post.
*insert trumpets playing*
It's just some thoughts and some things that are going on. :) Nice and random and brief, just the way I like blogs to be.
-First off, I go through periods where I want to blog all the time. And then I go through periods where I don't want to blog at all. And then I go through periods where there are lots of things I'd like to blog about but I don't want to actually BLOG about it. Does that make sense?
-I'm currently in the middle of the second of the above.
-Summer is quickly approaching and I'm so excited! Summer is such a blessing in my ministry. Teens aren't swamped with homework, there are camps to attend, and the weather is usually ideal for doing devos outside. SO GOOD!
-I think I am making a big financial purchase tomorrow. But I can walk away at any time. ;)
-If you haven't heard Needtobreathe, get yo life right and listen to them.
-A few months ago I was faced with some challenges. I drew near to God, and as I drew nearer to him, I fought with my emotions and mind and heart whether the pain of challenging situations was worth the connection and dependence on God. I'm in the middle of some new challenges, and I'm treasuring the moments (and trying to keep them in my memory) where I can tell Him that I trust Him. It's hard. And it's different. But God won't give me anything I can't handle. Colossians 1:17 says "He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." He will hold me together.
-I really love my iphone.
-Robin Hood comes out tomorrow and I'm (of course!) going to see it. Over the past two nights I've watched Robin Hood: Prince of Theives to get me into the mood. No matter how cheesy people think it is, it will always remain one of those movies I can literally watch over and over again...
-You've Got Mail and WALL-E are included in that list as well.
-And probably Star Trek- the new one.
-I make no excuses for my Sci-Fi love. Or the fact that I'm rereading the Young Jedi Knights series. Yes, they were written for teens. But I work with teens, so that makes it less weird right? I mean as less weird as you can get for a 26 year old reading Star Wars teen fiction...
-My new office is so precious to me! I'm thankful I work in a place that will provide me with my own space. And that space is perfect!
-I'm literally dozing off as I continue to type. GO TO BED GRAGERT!

As much as I LURVE the new Star trek film, I think First Contact is still my favorite.
