Rainy Thankful Tuesday

Good morning! It's a rainy rainy morning here in the Fort. This morning when I took the Phoebe out I kept having to toss her back into the rainy grass so she wouldn't pee on the sidewalk.

She's done that a couple of times...

It's been a while since I've posted (almost two months, but whose counting?!), and so I thought I would post some blessings in my life lately!

-Grad school. Yes, I have started grad school. Yes, I'm freaking out. Yes, it is very challenging. But it's also good. I'm a little overwhelmed by the work load (SO. MUCH. READING.) and the fact that I'm all of a sudden studying theology and not theatre, but I can already tell how rewarding it is going to be.

-Preachers. The class I am taking this semester is on preaching Paul. Right now we're studying homiletics (last week we compared traditional homiletics with Buttrick's homiletics) and I'm in awe with how much thought goes into sermon design and study. So thank your preacher this week. They work and think HARD.

-Jack Johnson on rainy days. There is nothing better than a little Banana Pancakes on a rainy morning. Except maybe staying in bed and listening to Banana Pancakes... :)

-Breakfast for dinner. I had the most delicious breakfast for dinner last night. Complete with deer sausage (a first for me), biscuits, and cinnamon rolls.

-Answered prayers. This one is pretty self-explanatory.

-The Office. Did anyone else watch the marathon on TBS yesterday? FANTASTIC.

-My God. I am continually in awe with how much my God loves me. And takes care of me. And blesses me with things that I have been asking Him for. He deserves so much more from me and I strive to serve Him in the way that he calls me to. His grace and mercy are overwhelming. Please pray that I can follow His path for me. Even when things are tough.
