Lost Makes it All Better

As the Bff just had a bad day, I wanted to reiterate the healing powers of Lost. Wednesdays are probably my favorite day because that's the day we have our Wednesday night program with the teens and because I have an amazing Lost party I attend every week. And as amazing as Lost is (I mean check out that amazing trailer for next week!) I think it has more to do with the people I spend time with each week. I've never met a louder, more tv talkative group, other than Dee and I. Everyone is so excited about the show and there's lots of commentary and pausing of the DVR to discuss things mid-show... it's great! It's healing!

And usually after all the teens leave, I stay for a while and discuss youth ministry and life with two people that I look up to the most (Carly and Dustin). I usually end up leaving at like midnight or later and am bleary eyed as I print and cut postcards at work the next morning, but it's all worth it.

And maybe the show isn't as fabulous as it was in the beginning, but I'm sticking with it. Because I wouldn't trade my Lost party for anything. Though I do wish Dee could join too!
