The Triple J Threat

I want a guy that is the perfect blend of Jesus, Jim Halpert, and Jack Bauer. Why? Because they each have qualities that I want in a boy.

I want what my friend Jennifer has called the Triple J Threat. Now some people might call me picky. I don't think I am. I know what I want and I'm willing to wait for it. Here are the qualities that each character has that I'm interested in.

1. Jesus

Obviously I want a guy like Jesus. I want him to love the Lord like I do, and have the compassion and desire to serve the Lord. I want him to be completely committed.

I don't want someone who is going to turn their back on me. Someone who isn't going to take their vows lightly. I come from a divorced family and I've seen what it can do. I don't want that to happen to me.

I want someone who is wise and who will continue to
guide himself and me through our walks.

I want someone who loves to tell stories.

I want them to desire to be more Jesus-like everyday.


2. Jim Halpert
I want a guy who has Jim Halpert's sense of humor. Someone who isn't afraid to make light of a situation and who is going to laugh with me. I can't handle people who don't understand my sense of humor. Or a guy who I am going to have to explain my jokes to (and I've dated one of those before... ugh).

He has to be unafraid to laugh at himself. He has to be dry and witty and fun.

He has to love to pulling pranks on people and
be unafraid of the consequences.


3. Jack Bauer
I want a guy who is hard-core like Jack. I don't want a guy who is afraid. I want him to be masculine and outdoors-y and passionate about what he believes in. I don't want a wussy guy.

I want them to care like Jack cares.

And to honor like Jack does.

And if they have a kevlar vest... that's an added plus.



So that's all I want. A guy who has at least some of the qualitites that these guys do. Is that too much to ask?
