X-Files: I Want to Believe Predictions!

I've got oodles of predictions about the X-Files movie!  I wanted to go ahead and share them now since I've only got a day till I SEE THE MOVIE!  

I would like to state for the record that I haven't read any spoilers for the movie. I've read the basic information passed on by CC and FS, but no spoilers.  I have looked at pictures, but I have made my own speculations based on these photos and haven't read anyone else's ideas.

Let's begin!

1.  The Plot.

I have NO idea what this movie is really about.  I have speculations that it is about a missing person and some sort of strange monster.  Gee, isn't that specific.

2.  The Relationship

It is my opinion that Mulder and Scully are still romantically involved.  I know that I'm probably in the minority because I think most people think that they are no longer together and this case will bring them back together.  But there is a picture of Scully entering what looks like Mulder's house and Mulder watching her enter and the way she holds herself and the briefcase she's holding makes me believe she's very comfortable with her surroundings.  

3.  The AD

If Skinner isn't in this movie I'm going to hurt someone.  End of discussion.  Skinner will be in the movie.  

4.  The Aliens

I don't think that there will be any aliens.  I do think there will be a scary unknown monster that will scare the living daylights out of me, Dee, and Lori in the middle of the movie.  It also looks like the majority of it takes place in the wilderness.  So it'll be really good when I go spend 7 days in the wilderness of Colorado next week after seeing a scary movie about some scary monster that lives in the woods.

5.  The Dying

If Mulder or Scully dies in this movie I'm going to hurt someone.  A lot.  Neither of them will die.

6.  The Offspring

William is not supposed to be overlooked in this movie.  I don't think that he's chilling with Mulder and Scully though (as happy as that would make me).  I do however think that they know what's going on with him.  And that Scully and Mulder both harbor a lot of pain about their lost son.  

7.  The Cigarette Smoking Man

If he comes back from the dead AGAIN I will be unable to retrieve my eyeballs from the top of my head.  He's gone.

8.  The Hottie (other than Mulder of course)

Alex Krycek won't be in this movie.

9.  The Most Hated Woman in the Series (Diana Fowley)

She better not make an appearance.

10.  The Overall

I think that it will be a scary movie.  I think there will be some really great scenes between Anderson and Duchovny(because WOW they've got amazing chemistry).  I think the writing will be top notch (because Carter is a great writer).  I am pretty sure Dee and I will probably be so scared in the movie that we will scream and I will cry (I do that when I'm scared).  I think there will be some really wonderful surprises (maybe the Lone Gunmen?!) and some really funny moments.  There will be lots of little inside jokes that only the hard-core fans will understand, but if you haven't seen the series the movie has been made so that you'll understand (which will be very nice since I'm seeing it tomorrow night with two friends who aren't really die-hard like I am).

That being said... ONLY 24 HOURS LEFT TILL WE BELIEVE AGAIN!!!!!!!
