-There is this tree right in front of the balcony of my apartment. When I moved in, it was almost barren. I was pretty sure it was going to bloom beautifully in the spring and I was right! A few weeks ago, I noticed small little sprouties on it and then one day it was covered in green leaves and pretty white blossoms! Now when I sit on my couch, I love to just look out at my tree. I can't wait to see how it will continue to change as the seasons do.
-The time change (as annoying as it might be) makes me happy once we've lost the hour. It reminds me of the summer. Which I can't wait for this year! We've got some really great camps this summer and great plans for Tuesday Fun Days and Service Project Days! Laying in the sun, swimming in the pool, going to see "blockbuster" movies with Mere, and Sonic blue coconut slushes are all things I'm very excited about!
-I was taking Phoebe for a walk this afternoon, and as I was walking alongside the lake next to my complex and I noticed like twenty baby ducks! I watched them for probably 15 minutes. They were so cute and fluffy! Believe me, it was all I could do not to scoop one up and bring it home with me.
-I want the current weather in Fort Worth to just stay like it is for a few weeks. It's that perfect temperature where you can roll down your windows while driving and keep your windows open in your house and be completely comfortable. Perfection!
-I've started saving for a car! I want a lime green slugbug. It's been my dream car since they came out when I was in 8th grade. I even had a 70's themed sweet 16 and had a slugbug cake and slugbug invitations! So I've started counting the slugbugs I see on the road. So far my count is up to 108. Whoa... I didn't realize until I typed that... but that's a LOST number!
-Speaking of LOST, a "LOST According to Lauren" is in order soon. Man, that show is just incredible. And it continues to get better and better.
-I had a lovely day on Saturday! I went shopping with some friends and just had the greatest time! We went to a couple of thrift stores in the area and I was thrilled!! Cute clothes for very little money makes for a VERY happy Grags. And, for those of you who haven't seen me in a while, I changed things up a little bit. :) Curious? You'll just have to wait and see!
