First off (and the most EXCITING!), the new Half-Blood Prince trailer was released last Thursday night at 9pm! See it HERE. My thoughts? It's brilliant. I cannot wait to see the movie. Which leads me to my next point...
They've changed the date AGAIN! It will now be released on July 15th as opposed to July 17th. Which means Ash, Dee, and I won't be able to stand in line all day. Work and Tuesday Fun Days must take precedence over line-waiting. :) But we're still planning on going to the midnight showing. It will still be VERY fun because it's been a while since the three of us have done something HP together (Prisoner of Azkaban movie?). Shirts will be made! Fun will be had! Memories will ensue!
Also, filming has started on Deathly Hallows! Mugglenet has some GREAT pictures of the filming. I probably need to stop looking at them though. I've only read DH once (it's been hard to convince myself to read it a second time for some reason... it just makes my heart hurt to think that when I re-read it it will be all over... again) and I'm slowly (ask Mags) working my way through the series and I want DH to be a complete surprise again!
My re-read has taken forever! I just get sidetracked by other books. I know... that makes me a BAD HP fan. Ah well. I started my re-read of Order of the Phoenix months ago and just haven't had a chance to really start and dedicate myself to it. I read a small bit this weekend though. I'm going to try and finish it in the next two weeks. Mags, will you hold me to that?
And finally, a few fun HP quotes to end this blog:
"So light a fire!" Harry choked.
"Yes...of course...but there's no wood!" Hermione cried, wringing her hands.
"HAVE YOU GONE MAD!" Ron bellowed. "ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT!
-Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry learned quickly not to feel to sorry for the gnomes. He decided to just drop the first one just over the hedge, but the gnome, sensing weakness, sank his razor sharp teeth into Harry's finger and he had a hard job shaking it off until -
"Wow, Harry - that must have been fifty feet!"
-Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
He therefore had to endure over an hour of Professor Trelawney, who spent half the lesson telling everyone that the position of Mars with relation to Saturn at that moment meant that people born in July were in great danger of sudden, violent deaths. "Well, that's good," said Harry loudly, his temper getting the better of him, "just as long as it's not drawn out. I don't want to suffer."
-Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
"Do you remember me telling you we are practicing nonverbal spells, Potter?"
"Yes," said Harry stiffly.
"Yes, sir."
"There's no need to call me 'sir,' Professor."
-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
LOVE AND HARRY!
