-Meredith and I watched "Raise Your Voice" this weekend. Judge away. We did it so that we could basically mock it. And it was quite mockable. Bless Hilary Duff's heart... she's just not a classical singer. She sure couldn't "Raise Her Voice." It was a horrible movie. That had a HORRIBLE moral: "It's okay to lie to your parents as long as you're getting what YOU want out of it." Um... Altamesa teens, not cool. After viewing this monstrosity of a movie, Mere and I had to watch the "Bomb Episode" of Grey's Anatomy to flush out the badness of "Raise Your Voice."
-After a very busy week/weekend, I came to work and SCOURED my desk. Paperwork is where it belongs, pictures are in the right place, post-it notes have been thrown away, files are in the right spot (the file cabinet), and everything has been wiped down with a clorox wipe. Life is good!
-Ash and I had a LOVELY time for her b-day! I love her so much. I'm so glad we've been friends for as long as we have. We've been through SO MUCH together. We were able to watch the final HP trailer for HBP together which was AWESOME on the big screen. HP will always be something that we share a great passion for. She's my HP Buddy! We've been to most of the movies, and all the books (starting with OotP) together. Love and Harry, Ash-er! Love you!
-Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, the Office, and 30 Rock on Thursday nights with Mere are some of the funniest and greatest moments of the week. Meredith is HILARIOUS. We laugh, cry, and discuss powerful creative processes. Seriously.
-Phoebe continues to be the cutest and funniest dog EVER. I'm pretty sure she thinks she's living with a crazy person. I tend to do silly things in my apartment. For instance, Friday I changed my HP calendar, and noticed that Lupin and Tonks were the picture this month, so I proceeded to yell "REEEEEEEMUS!" By the look she gave me, she thinks I'm nuts. But she loves me anyway! We have a good time. She's ridiculously spoiled. She's constantly given treats and chew toys. She lives quite the charmed life!
-A month and 2 days till the first camp of the summer: Pine Springs! I'm SO ready for Summer 2009!!!
-I've been playing my guitar every day for the past 3 weeks. I will have massive calluses! I will! Mere is coming over tonight for a little jam session. I'm still struggling with strumming. I'm too stiff. So we're going to work on that and some simple worship songs! Hooray!
-Frasier is one of the greatest shows of all time. Niles rocks.
-I've still got the greatest job in the world. No lies.
