Because Melissa Anelli Asked Me to...

Melissa Anelli (author of the VERY good book Harry, A History) wrote these questions on her blog and asked those of us who read her blog, to answer them. So here are the questions and my answers:

1. "Dollhouse" is about girls who are frequently "imprinted" with new personalities (I'm not making the Twilight joke, I'm not); make up the personality/lifestyle you'd like to have and tell me about it.

I am so content with who I am now I would rather not change it. However, I do wish I was a little more spontaneous.

2. Favorite book that you hated in high school?

I hated Catcher in the Rye when I read it in high school. But I re-read it in college and absolutely loved it. It is now one of my favorite books. I couldn't see past what I felt was "useless chatter" when I was in high school. I so identified with the ending of the book in college.

3. Television show you would wipe off the face of the earth if you could?

Any and all soap operas. Blech.

4. Mangos or avocados?

Mmmm... avocados!

5. Edward Cullen (or for the sake of argument, Edwina Cullina) or your first boy/girlfriend?

Hands down my first boyfriend. Jimmy was a lot more interesting than Edward Cullen ever will be.

6. Ocean or lake?

Ocean.

7. Has the economic crisis affected you, and how?

It hasn't. At least not yet.

8. Are you done with your taxes?

No...

9. What's your dream job?

A youth minister and actress. Oh wait... that's what I do now! :)

10. Finish this sentence: "If I had a billion space bucks, I would...."

I would take the Altamesa teens on a mission trip to India. I would take Dee, Ash, Mags, and Ruthie to Englad to see where they film HP, and end the trip with the opening ceremonies of the Harry Potter theme park. I would support Dee and her missionary team to Chile (in full). I would buy the Altamesa youth group a set of vans so that we would never have to rent any ever again. I would pay for all the teens to go to all the camps, retreats, mission trips for the rest of the year. I would pay off my student loans and buy a lime green Volkswagon beetle. And I would get some really great and fun Harry Potter and Star Wars items. :)
