As always, there are many MANY spoilers, friends. Proceed with caution!
-I totally thought the beginning was a dream. When Jack woke up and saw the trees. I was convinced that he was having one of those scary John-type dreams that was going to tell him what to do next. I was really annoyed when I realized they were actually back on the island. I can't believe it!!
-Where are Sayid, Ben, and Sun!?
-Why on EARTH was Hurley carrying a guitar? Does anyone else think that it might have something to do with Charlie? Maybe Charlie was the one who told Hurley what flight to take. I'm still hoping that Charlie will come back somehow...
-I'm SO annoyed with Sun. She left her child behind! Does she think she'll be able to come off of the island?
-And speaking of children, what the HECK did Kate do with Aaron. I think it is a perfectly valid question for Jack to ask, and how could he possibly promise to never ask her about it again? And then kiss her!?
-I believe that Kate gave Aaron to Cassidy Phillips. I think she took Claire seriously when she said to never bring Aaron back to the island. But what is Kate's motivation for going back? Did she have a dream? Is she really missing Sawyer? Does she just want to be with Jack?
-I think my favorite part of the show last night was the scene with Jack and Ben talking about Doubting Thomas. It really made me think about how much of this show is based around faith. And how John has always had faith, but Jack has really had to be taught faith. The scene when he's putting his dad's shoes onto Ben (and by Ben I mean John... thanks Dustin!) was HILARIOUS and so fitting.
-And speaking of creating things so that they're similar to the original crash? I think Kate is pregnant. Chew on that.
-I felt like the pacing of the show really sped up last night. I mean, we've been learning all this information and there has been a lot going on in the past 5 episodes, but last night it was like they put the fast-forward on. Everything happened quickly. Each moment was essential to the plot. There was very little time for anything like character development or even pausing for us as the viewers to catch our brains up to what we were watching. It was awesome. And definitely calls for another viewing. :)
-This is the fourth week in a row that I've shouted "NO!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!" as soon as LOST appeared at the end of the episode.
-Another theory I have is that Jack, Kate, and Hurley are in a different time than Sun and Sayid. And I think Ben is somewhere in limbo... as punishment. He's not supposed to return to the island.
-If Ben killed Penny, I will be more than angry. If he did though, it looks like she put up a huge fight.

Grags! You are crazy awesome with your theories...in my opinion, this was the BEST and most fulfilling episode of LOST since "Through the Looking Glass."
And to clarify, Jack placed his dad's shoes on Locke, not Ben. And I found that to be a fabulous moment, right on the heels of my favorite scene of the last few years, the doubting Thomas conversation by the painting.
Good stuff as always, and I'm particularly impressed with the Cassidy reference...I was a weakling and was just thinking Claire's mom. Nice work, and the pace has FOR SURE picked up. Check your Facebook soon, as I've got a question about something for you...much love.
I totally meant John! I must have had Ben on the brain... I changed it! Thanks for the correction!
